A platform taught by handpicked qualified teachers for Primary School children.
Traditionally, when parents seek homeschooling for their child they would have to get a recommendation from other parents or elsewhere of a qualified teacher. With this in mind, Teach Nation has set out to bring the best teachers from around the world to a centralized location. Parents can now access qualified primary school teachers, see their availability and book them for 25 and 50-minute teaching lessons for their child. There’s already been some great demand from teachers around the world with the current batch of teachers from (but not limited to) Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Moldova, and Jamaica.
Teach Nation lessons are one-on-one and tailored to children’s academic needs, are run with interactive whiteboards and live video sessions. Parents can choose from English, Maths subjects and French as a secondary language.
Here are 4 steps on how to use Teach Nation
Step 1: Browse
Search through the teacher page and watch the different introduction videos created by teachers. Introduction videos help parents have a feel of the teacher’s personality before booking a live session with them. Also, the great news is that all the teachers on the platform are DBS Check/Police Checked.
Step 2: Booking
After going through the introductory videos and you happily find a teacher for your child’s academic needs, it is time to book the teacher through their online availability calendar. Before you can successfully book a teacher on the website, you will need to register as a parent.

Step 3: Live Session with Online Teacher
It is now time to attend your scheduled meeting with your Teach Nation teacher. The lessons are conducted through Teach Nation’s interactive video space which is available through their website. Also, Teach Nation lessons last for 25 minutes or 50 minutes in duration, depending on your selection. Teach Nation also includes fun reward systems in their lessons which helps motivate children to engage actively during the online lesson.
Step 4: Feedback
After each lesson, parents receive instant feedback about how their child’s online learning went. The feedback touches on the learning objective for the class, strengths in the child’s learning and practical tips to help your child improve on the lesson.
Teach Nation is a new and energetic platform. It is a great website to use if you’re seeking an alternative to traditional tutoring lessons or simply to replace classroom lessons during the lockdown.
As Teach Nation’s slogan goes, online learning made easy!
